December 08, 2008 In the Netherlands (and Belgium) we celebrate "Sinterklaas" on December, 5th. It's something like Santa Claus: an old guy who gives presents to little kids. See also this article on wikipedia. A lot of companies have a Sinterklaas afternoon this time of year for employees and their kids. We went there last week and Zoë got a little Winnie the Pooh backpack. She loved it. She has been running around with it all day ;) |
